Today was our last Reading Buddies session for the year (2014) - We will have another session in Spring!

Reading Buddies - Fall 2014

ReadingBuddies!

The Center is hosting a new program this year - our Reading Buddies program.  Big Buddies (middle/high school students) will be matched with Little Buddies (1-3 grade students from NWE) for an hour of reading, activities, educational games, and a snack on Tuesday nights during the fall.  If things go well, we will run a Spring session as well!  

Our Big Buddies are trained, our new books (thanks First Books!) have been sorted and organized, and we are all ready for our first 18 students to start next Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Park Program Display at the Albion Fair!

If your student participated in the Summer Park Program, be sure to swing by the Education Building at the Albion Area Fair this week to find their handprint and see our display! If you want to ride on our float in the parade on Saturday, please be at NWE by 9:30am!
